Who We Are
MK Toys is a Canadian collectibles shop run by a genuine enthusiast. We specialize in the items we actually love — Pokémon TCG singles and promos, graded trading cards, Funko Pops, and Jellycat plush. Every piece in our catalog has been hand-picked, not bulk-bought, because we believe collectors deserve better than a warehouse clearance rack.
Our Curation Story
It started the way most collections do: one card, one figure, one plush at a time. Over the years, what began as a personal hobby turned into a deep knowledge of what makes a collectible worth owning — condition, rarity, authenticity, and the story behind it. MK Toys exists to share that knowledge and connect the right pieces with the right collectors.
Our catalog is intentionally focused. You won't find thousands of listings here. What you will find are items we've personally evaluated and stand behind.
How We Source Our Inventory
We source from a combination of trusted hobby distributors, established collectors, and the secondary market — always with provenance in mind. For Pokémon TCG singles and promos, we prioritize cards with clear ownership history. For Funko Pops and Jellycat plush, we source sealed or near-mint condition items from reputable suppliers.
We do not buy from unknown or unverified sources. If we can't confirm the authenticity and condition of an item, it doesn't make it into our shop.
Graded Cards: Authentication & Grading
Graded cards in our inventory are professionally slabbed by recognized third-party grading services (such as PSA or BGS). Each slab carries a unique certification number you can verify directly on the grading company's website — we encourage you to do exactly that before purchasing.
What the grade means matters too. We describe each card's grade and what it reflects about the card's condition in plain language, so you know what you're getting whether you're a seasoned grader or buying your first slab.
We never crack, re-case, or alter slabs. What you see is what you receive.
Shipping & Handling for Collectibles
Collectibles need more than a bubble mailer. Every order from MK Toys is packed with the item's safety as the top priority:
- Graded slabs are wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in boxes to prevent flex damage.
- Funko Pops are shipped in complimentary soft protectors, bubble wrapped and in boxes to protect the original packaging.
- Jellycat plush are bagged and boxed to arrive clean and undamaged.
- All orders are shipped with tracking so you can follow your package from our hands to yours.
We are located in Vaughan, Ontario and are happy to offer pick-up options for nearby customers. We ship across Canada and the US and are happy to discuss international shipping options — just reach out before placing your order.
